Rodgers is good. I knew he would be fine after Farve left. Best QB I don't think so he's not even top 5.

Rodgers is a top 5 QB.

Rodgers is getting a lot of respect in this thread and I agree with it. IMO Romo and Rodgers are very close to each other right now in terms of ability, both being near the top of the league. A couple things really impress me about Rodgers.
1. How well he is performing under enormous expectations after replacing a legend.
2. His athletic ability. Watch any GB game and you notice he can really move.
3. 26 years old?! you kidding me.
4. I like his honestly in interviews. Ragging on Kornheiser I can agree with.
5. Shutting up the the teams and critics who passed on him. We all remember that draft where people were talking about A Rodg going #1 overall and growing up a 49's fan, only to have San Fran pick Alex Smith over him. Then he had to sit for like four hours in that VIP room sweating it out and waiting to get picked.

Certainly he isn't the number one guy in the league. If I had one season to win a superbowl I would probably take Peyton. I don't have a problem with Woodson saying so though, the vet was defensive MVP and probably has a lot of respect in that GB locker room. Its always a good thing when you back your QB like that.

I'd say he's either 4th or 5th, with Romo being in whichever spot he isn't.

Rodgers is playing at an alarming level for just starting in this league for 2 years.

Sit back and watch folks - he is for real and he is going to be a round a LONG time.

Any real shock here?

A teammate sticking up for his guy calling him the best in the league. Pretty standard.

:hammer:

In other news, Roy Williams says he has the best hands in the NFL after dropping several passes Sunday :laugh1: .

I had to pick between Rodgers and Romo who to keep on my fantasy football team.

Guess who I chose? ;)

Rodgers regular season record = 17 wins 15 losses
Romo's regular season record = 38 wins 17 losses

Rodgers playoff record = 0-1
Romo's playoff record = 1-3

The only thing to compare is regular season record and unless Rodgers can win 21 of his next 23 games, that's not even a discussion.

Also, Romo has never had a losing season. Rodgers took a Favre led 13-3 NFC Championship Game Packers team and went 6-10 with them the next year. Romo took a 9-7 Bledsoe led Cowboys team and went 13-3 with them his first full year starting.
