I have less concerns with the Giants and their misguided situation with Saquan, that is a Gian burden...lol
Commodes need Young to be healthy, and if he is that defense is worthy.
agree and the Iggles STILL have no QB that is NFL caliber until proven differently. He was a dumpster fire last year. They could have drafted Kenny Pickett. He was there ,even late. I think Davis will forever be linked to that bad decision if he doesnt pan out.

Maybe it's just me but I'm not sensing a lot of confidence he'll be ready to start the season.

Chase Young: Everything is going as planned in ACL rehab

I actually played golf with a guy who covers the commanders for nbc just yesterday. I specifically asked about Young, he expressed doubt that Young would be ready for week 1, but did say it probably wouldn’t be long after week 1 before he was ready.

Is it bad that I take pleasure in certain teams misfortunes?
I enjoy when our division rivals just blow early picks, however this draft the East Dogs seemed to really be in the ball game in this draft and I give credit were credit is due, and we were no exception, this Cowboys team had a really solid draft considering the slotting and pick allocations.
The entire NFC East has improved , and that certainly includes the Cowboys, this is just going to become a really improved division overall quickly.

People try to make the NFC East a punchline but the Eagles made the playoffs and if the Commodores had won one game against us last year they would have been one game below .500 with that 17 game schedule.

Two playoff teams and a team around .500 is a tough division, most years. Granted, the Cowboys swept the division last year but that doesn’t make it terrible.

Terrible was the NFC North…

Yea, he was injured in November last season. We'll see but he could actually miss half of the season. The timing could be interesting, what if there are only 5-7 games left with little or no chance at playoffs? Do you actually bring back or shut him down for the rest of the season.

Chase Young is a generational type talent. But, you have to be healthy and the guy has had some rotten luck in that department. He is basically the Saqaun Barkley of defensive players. All the talent in the world but can't stay healthy long enough to show much.

C. Young is overrated.

I watched all the OSU games and he was shut down when faced with a quality tackle. He dominated lesser comp.

His performance, or lack thereof, on the pro level to date is no surprise to me.

I was pleased when the Commodes took him because I didn’t see him as anywhere near worthy of being picked that high.

Possibly. But he's such a freak athlete, there is a ton of room for growth if he works on his game.
I agree slower start then expected as his draft hype and rookie year made him legend before his game got there LOL

however, Clowney had a similar rough start with being picked first the expectations were high to his career and had nice career anyway,

i don't think Young is or will be bust but maybe not live up to the hype..even fans here claimed we would be in trouble for decade with this guy hunting Dak..lol

how do you know doesn't this post tell you to NOT judge a draft by its names picked and wait until the payers hit the field in soem real games? its cautionary tale for FANS to STOP with the overblown expectations in both directions.

its so out of control the FA and draft expectations in off seasons from fans as if they know what truly going to happen in real games in the regular season based on names chosen and their reputations..

Did you read the article? I was healthy thru week ten last season but struggled. Even Riveria admitted coaches were disappointed. As for a "generational talent", I'm not sure about that. He had 16 sacks his college season but 7 were in two games. Bottom line, at this time so far, he's nowhere near Bosa or TJ Watts.
