Smarter? Maybe. Kelly is still 4-1 against Coughlin. Jason Garrett is 7-4.

if Jason Garrett and Chip Kelly both have winning records against you, that should tell you something.

I think Coughlin is a hall of fame quality coach but the game has passed him by. If he takes over for the Eagles, he has a rebuild project on his hands...something he hasn't had to do for years.
