It’s been a strange last year for Jeremy Mincey between trips to London. He was run out of Jacksonville for being a persistent headache, ended up getting a trip to the Super Bowl out of the deal when the Broncos signed him as an injury replacement, and then signed with his favorite team, the Cowboys…http://youwillnotrackme2.net/b.gif?host=profootballtalk.nbcsports.com&blog=&post=2293506&subd=nbcprofootballtalk&ref=&feed=1

@ProFootballTalk Um, he ran himself off. The dude was late for SEVERAL team meetings. Would your job keep you if you consistantly late?
He was more worried about his rap lable than playing footbal until he got to a team that was worth a ****.
This dude thinks he was a leader for the Jags? A leader that didn't show up for work? No wonder they were 0-8 with him.

The good thing about making mistakes today is you can reflect and improve upon them tomorrow. I think Mincey is doing what he is asked to do. It may not be much but at least he is reliable.

He apparently claims there was more to it than what was said publicly.

It was just hard for me not to be able to let it all out, because you’ve got a coach who don’t know you, really, genuinely.

“I don’t think they looked at my positives,” he said. “I was going through a lot. It was tough, man. There are a lot of things I can’t talk about, but there were a lot of things that happened to me that I don’t speak on, and I swallowed that pill, because I’m a man.

“I get knocked down, and I just get up and come back stronger, work harder. You just focus on what I’ve got to do. Right now, I’m trying to be the best Cowboy I can be, and we’re doing a good job.”

Some teams dump on players when they're gone. They had a new Head Coach that needed to make a statement and take control of the team. Parcells rode Larry Allen's butt about conditioning and about changing his weight lifting routine all just to make a point the he (Parcells) was in charge.

Jaguars fans are the most sensitive I've seen on Twitter. Even more than Cowboy fans.

Whatever his past has been I liked his interview on DC.com and on the field he's giving 100% and making plays. Garrett recently said he plays the right way.
