PFT: Crosby hears Cowboys' trade chatter

We just want to keep this stupid mentality.

LETS SIGN ALL THE BEST PLAYERS GUYS!!

Its not happening, stop it, not every player wants to play for Dallas and we are NOT going to have every player. Get over it.

Dead money next year for brooks 4.7 mil that deal was in my opinion trade friendly
I am hearing speculation is that Miami extended him to take on some of the cap which would make him more easy to trade

True. I still see space available. Interesting to see "Be Legendary" and "Humble Beast" on the same body of work. They call that "contrast" I think. Lol.
Ask him what it means and I gurantee your knee-jerk judgement without any facts is wrong.

He only had like $10m due on his old contract, if Miami wanted to trade him why would they give him a new deal with $12m up front, which only saved them about 4.5m against the cap. They would also have about $17m in dead money over the next 4 years. Hardly makes any financial sense for the Dolphins.

His injury?
and that is the one thing we dont know about. wait.wait... no, we do know.

After undergoing offseason knee surgery (torn meniscus) and sitting out spring OTAs/minicamp, Crosby was fully cleared and reported to camp as a full participant. He took the field without limitations right from the start of practices, including 11-on-11 team drills.

I don’t mind giving up future picks. But we had better be close enough to do some damage in the playoffs if we do. I don’t think we’re close enough.
then you will never be close enough. How much better do you think our offense can be? Getting Crosby would be a giant step forward. You think Seattle was close before last season started? NOT close. They were 60-1 odds. Dallas is about 30-1 right now. So in the eyes of the people that know more than anyone, Dallas is closer than Seattle was.

There you go again lol he was being sarcastic it seems, on the tattoo point, everyone because of Dak recently has tattoos his artists gives every player a buy one get one half off special lol
I was in the Marines, and I still dont have any tattoos. I hate them. But, they are simply a part of life and it doesnt bother me on players.

Then why did Ravens pass on him, if it was just in need of being scoped?

dont know why, but did you hear what Broadus said? Miami ownership has given the word that they are willing to absorb the financial hit for draft capital that they like. Rich people dont care about losing some cash with their toys.

U can be both….. mindset is humble which keeps you hungry and grounded and drives you to do better, do more……drives you to action….and your actions are what make you legendary.
I think if you're humble, legendary is not part of your vocabulary - at least to seek to be called that by others. Others might heap that praise on you but even then you might not pay it much mind.

Well....let's go there then. If Dallas were to make the deal, what would you be willing to give up? I doubt highly a number one, not for Brooks. So maybe a 2 or even a 3. Dallas would be projected to be a playoff team for sure....so those are picks at the end of the 2nd or 3rd. Would that entice them enough to take on some of the cap hits? If it were my team that did that, I would be pretty pissed off.

I think the Ravens had buyer's remorse....giving up two number ones when they could get a decent pass rusher in Hendrickson without giving up the draft picks. Makes way more sense. Hendrickson has been a higher level sack artist while Crosby makes more of an impact in the run game.
