“Knowledge-wise, I think I’m the smartest quarterback that came in this class,” Prescott recently told USA Today. “I would love to go on the board and go head to head with anybody else. That’s how I feel. That’s how confident I am.”

“The offense we ran at Mississippi State was nothing short of an NFL offense,” Prescott said. “The only thing that was different is that we didn’t go under center. I swear to you, in [pre-draft] visits, every play they showed me, I could name it. We just called it something different. At another team I visited, they ran the exact same stuff we ran.”

HAH just look at that comment section!

Was only going to be a matter of time before the masses found an excuse to start hating on the new QB of America's Team. This "smartest QB" quote won't soon be forgotten.

Welcome to Dallas, Dak. Get used to it.

You're going to have much of the season to prove it. So do so.

Tell you what. If l were Dak...I probably would not have made those comments.

Do they still do the Wonderlic test? He seems to be a bit overconfident. That might tell us more.

Based off of making a comment like that to a reporter of a national publication, I think that statement can be called into some doubt.
That picture of yours...shouldnt it read Mount Rushless!!!;)

Dak said "I think i am the smartest" He didn't say he knows he the smartest or some kind of absolute. Maybe he shouldn't of said it either way, but these are part of the growing pains.

There's a reason why he looks like a five-year vet when he's running this offense

smoothest rookie I've ever seen

Sure there's going to be some bad decisions the speed is so much quicker at this level

But hey how many years did we put up with Romo's boneheaded plays

Yep, even though I wouldn't have said it, his confidence shows on the field.

I prefer all role models to remain humble. Don't talk the talk, walk the walk. But I'm not Dak. I will say that I'd rather have a QB who's cocky and hungry than one who minces words. Just keep it within the lines. We have enough publicity as it is. So we'll see. But I'm definitely on the Dak train. All aboard! Choo Choo!
