Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott has “no knowledge” of how machine-generated autographs ended up on some of his trading cards. Panini America, the Irving, Texas, based trading card company that has an exclusive autographed trading card agreement with Prescott, released a statement Friday night. What's funny is that the cards that were sent out will now likely become ultra-rare cards so whoever got them should refuse to give them back. They could ironically be worth more with generated signatures than those with actual real signatures :)

Especially the ones that become "Gem Mint 10" (in my best Don West voice).

Funny how the fans of other teams elect to believe the worst of him without having any knowledge of the actual facts. In the end, it's pretty obvious that fans, for the most part, choose to believe only what suits their fancy. It matters not that Dak is known to be someone of high moral character in respect to everything else.

Its pretty obvious what happened. Panini sent him some cards, he signed them and sent them back, and then some Panini employee went to work in some secluded space cranking out more autographed cards with an auto pen. There is no way Dak agreed to let an auto pen sign his cards. There's a good reason it took 48 hours for a response from Panini and Dak and within that time period Panini decided to extend and increase his exclusive contract. They were caught and gave Dak and his agent more money to sweep it under the rug.

Think ur exactly right considering the card company gave Dak an extension immediately. Think too it shows the character of Dak that he has not said one word about this situation. This kid is a diamond in the rough.

I was thinking about that. How does that work though? After time people will forget that this was ever a story and then it's just a machine signed card

Glad he got an extension. Maybe the more money he makes outside of football the less he will demand in a few years? Yea I didn't think so either...
