The indication about pay in this article is kind of stupid. Parsons will get paid like a high-end impact defender because that's what he is, whether he's classified as a linebacker or defensive end.

Too many good DE’s on this team to lock him in there. LB corps is a bit thin too.

Good.......with that being said, Micah may wanna avoid talking about personnel changes in public. Chalk it up as a young mistake, no harm, no foul but def reckless disregard of knowing his place/lane.

To quote from Dragnet: The truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth...
"Just the facts, ma'am."

With his tweets about courting OBJ, and contacting DC Quinn about selecting Mazi Smith prior to the draft...its appears Parsons has no "place or lane" to stay in.

I'm more worried about *wasting* Parsons as a run defender setting the edge against OTs.
Parsons is a great edge *rusher*. Use him in that capacity. Then let him play off the ball blitzing or in coverage.
Don't transform a body that is *currently* one of the top defensive athletes.

Ummm ... don't think that one's from Dragnet.

I think the one you are thinking of is "Book 'em, Danno" or "And that's the way it is" or "Good night, John Boy."

I think the one you are thinking of is "Book 'em, Danno" or "And that's the way it is" or "Good night, John Boy."
The other three references aren't the stereotype of just simple truth, unbiased.

John Boy was simple dedication, decency, and family value.

That's The Way It Is -

SYNOPSIS

The filmed account of rock and roll giant Elvis Presley begins at the singer's headquarters on the Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer lot, as he prepares for his first concert tour since 1957 and an upcoming appearance at the "Elvis Summer Festival" in the Las Vegas International Hotel. Intercut with the musical numbers are interviews with admiring fans, who try to explain the singer's appeal and significance, and scenes of the fifth annual Elvis Presley Appreciation Society Convention in Luxembourg. The last half of the film is devoted to the Las Vegas appearance and includes shots of Presley fans Cary Grant, Juliet Prowse, Xavier Cugat, Charro, Rona Barrett, and Sammy Davis, Jr.

Book 'em Danno was a catch term for Hawaii Five - O...and the synopsis was the apprehension of the guilty party.

Dragnet -

...The show's opening narration: "Ladies and gentlemen: the story you are about to hear is true. Only the names have been changed to protect the innocent." Over time, the "only" and "ladies and gentlemen" were eventually dropped, and the television version replaced "hear" with "see"...

Dragnet is an American radio, television and film series, following the exploits of dedicated Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) Detective Joe Friday and his partners, created by actor and producer Jack Webb. The show took its name from the police term "dragnet", a term for a system of coordinated measures for apprehending criminals or suspects.

Dragnet is perhaps the most famous and influential police procedural crime drama in American media history. The series portrayed police work as dangerous and heroic, and helped shape public perception of law enforcement in the 20th century. Dragnet earned praise for improving the public opinion of police officers.[1] Webb's aims in Dragnet were for realism and unpretentious acting.

Sorry fella', I said the image and meaning I wanted to project...The story you are about to see is true. The names have been changed to protect the innocent.

Simple truth...and that's the ticket there.

I was just messing with you for quoting what's said in courtrooms instead of what was said on Dragnet: "Just the facts, ma'am." Didn't mean to set you off.
