The Commanders kicked a field goal with 1:40 left in Sunday’s game to cut Dallas’s lead to seven points and they gave themselves a chance to tie the game by forcing a punt.

Seibert was returning from a hip injury and had already missed two kicks, but Quinn said at his press conference that he never considered going for two after McLaurin scored.

“No. I thought after we score, we’d go for one,” Quinn said. “And the reason behind that thought, let’s get back into it but we don’t have to decide it on this play.”

I don’t like DQ, but an argument could be made either way. I don’t think he was wrong in this situation. But I did think they’d go for 2 to end it.

It was clear their kicking game was having an issue. You go for the win. I realize it's an easy second guess now. But, you could see in the first quarter there was something off with snaps and kicks. The kicker was pulling everything left.

I would have kicked the extra point too.

But there was a 4th and 2 situations earlier in the game where Washington kicked but I would have gone for the 1st down. Crazy game. Not sure any decisions would have changed the outcome only because it might have triggered another crazy play somewhere along the line.

This is a good one to debate. Watching it live I was sure he would go for 2. I can see the arguments to keep the game alive by sending into O/T. But I think I would have gone for 2 as you were successful before, your kicker is unreliable and this is a chance to win the game right there

I’m on the fence on this one. I wouldn’t complain with either decision really.

Hind sight is 20-20.

Our offense was average at best. You hope you give us the ball first in OT, they go 3 and out, you kick the 3 and win.

You dont go for two against an offense you can stop.

I thought they would go for 2. Especially considering Daniels is so mobile. I wasn't confident the Cowboys could have stopped them.

Going for 2 would have been a boss move for sure. QB draw scores 9 out of 10 times.
