Wonder how he plans to stop it.........coz it's risky for players to sit out until the next draft. I know some will say Eli pulled it off but Eli was a consensus 1st overall pick with the Mannings name attached.......big difference. I'm just not sure owners are going to let Deion tell them who to draft or who not.

Deion Sanders: I’ll step in before the wrong team drafts Shedeur or Travis Hunter

He can stay in school, and continue to get paid. That’s why you need a true GM. Someone involved with the colleges. Thank you for William Maclay.

Eli was going to refuse to play. He would’ve went with. San Diego, he just wouldn’t have played. That’s the difference there. Dion son wants to play.

Well, they can stay in school and get that NIL money and hope it's not the same ole teams drafting up top.

Same old teams, drafting up top, already have quarterbacks.

What position is Hunter gonna play? Cant play both sides in the NFL

Edelman did it for awhile. Its just hard to develop the skillset to play both sides of the ball at a high level but if you already have it, and you have the endurance to sustain it which he clearly does, then you can. The big downside is of course 1 injury now is suddenly an injury to 2 positions instead of 1.

Sure they had the Manning name attached to them, but the Sanders name is a scrub name in comparison when Eli was drafted? The Mannings were not the greatest QBs to ever live, Sanders was the greatest CB to ever live.

I don't care what happens anyway, as long as Jerry and his idiot cheap son are around it really doesn't matter who we hire.

lol, yeah…sure.

If he has any hopes of being an NFL head coach he’d be best served to try to avoid pissing off the old billionaires club. If he screws the wrong owner he’s done.

If he goes top 3, he’ll be going to a really bad team. I’d let him play both sides at first just to see how it shakes out and which side he should focus on.

Dem boys gonna see how much they can make and say, "Bump, Prime. Where do I sign!"

Thank you you just proved my point. It’s not about the player. It’s about the name, and that’s totally absurd.

I just don't think the owners want to open that can of worms, especially with college players now getting paid. Eli was an exception .......I see them changing the rule extending the time a drafted team holds a player right from one to two years. Besides, Shedeur isn't good enough to dictate where he's drafted.

This is another reason why I would not hire Deion as a HC and then draft his son.
