Heartbreaking to hear for him, hope it doesn't come to that-

I got the opportunity to see him at a closed company event at the college football hall of fame a few years ago and was struck by how strong his faith is- this is a man that is devoted, doesn't drink and while a bit self absorbed is truly at peace with who he is.

If anyone could get through this it is him, really hoping for the best

Another vascular surgeon, Max Wohlauer, told Sanders that the blood pressure measured in his lower leg had previously been the same as the blood pressure in his arm but is now only about two-thirds the blood pressure in his arm.

“So those arteries have shut down,” Wohlauer said.
Deion is only 55. If he has that condition already, there likely isn't much long term hope of keeping his foot.

The good news is medical advancements in prosthetics have been pretty remarkable the last few years.

frustrating. With all his money he must have the best doctors working on the situation. It just shows how little we still know about our bodies.
We are all pulling for you and hope for the best

The good news is that even if he loses the foot...he'll likely benefit from modern prosthetics, which will provide something >75% as good in replacement. In time he will likely walk as good, and look as good in doing so...as before. (Given his age.)

I'm probably understating it. If he's lost toes already, a replacement foot might be 110% improvement.

Yeah I was gonna say he might see improvement already losing two toes but I know this has to suck.

Nah. Only sucks if he feels sorry for himself, which I trust he won't.

This is a tiny speed bump compared to losing a child, a spouse, a livelihood. He has massive fame, massive money, friends, great job. He should have the same energy, ability to communicate, and in a short time lose nothing in function. He'll walk around just like anyone else.

I ain't feeling sorry for Deion. We got people in this Country getting slandered where they lose everything. People on the streets with nothing. AI stealing future careers. I ain't wasting a quarter-second feeling bad for Deion over this. Just a wish for successful surgery.

+1 ....brother-in-law had the same condition. Actually started with his foot but later had to amputate the leg also.

There’s different levels of pain and hurt. Is losing a leg as bad as losing a child? No. But it still hurts. These same legs that have made him millions, the legs he’s had his who life are potentially gone.

I never understood the whole “I don’t feel sorry for this guy because he’s rich”. As if money solved all problems. It erases any form of sadness or sickness.

He'll still beat any man in a race. Hope won't come down to that though. Get some leeches on that foot, no joke I've seen that work to get the blood flowing back.
