It was The Fan or The Ticket this morning, can't remember. Said that Murray's 1st down yardage is something like 500 or more yards, is that right, can it be that much. It seems high. and he's not getting touched much during that. Averaging like 6 YPC on those runs.

Maybe I heard it wrong, or took it wrong.

Thing about Murray is, he has relatively low mileage on his wheels to this point. Through his first three years in the League he averaged 180 carries. LaDanian Tomlinson, Walter Payton and Emmitt Smith averaged 317, 318 and 319, respectively. Curtis Martin averaged 351 over a ten-year career.

Murray has a lot of tread left. I say keep giving him the ball. He can rest after the Super Bowl.

well he does need less touches than 30. maybe around 25 max but you are right his first years have been light. he is a high contact runner though, so was MBIII. when he starts to decline it could be sudden
