I think he's a dangerous wide receiver, and the fact that he's a force to be reckoned with on ST is even more of a plus. Having said that, I think he's too small and injury prone to be given top flight WR money. Only give DSJ a contract extension with big money if a cap friendly deal can be worked out. Oh wait?? :- /
Vincent Jackson has more worth than Desean Jackson as a top tier WR IMO.

:lmao2: I LOVE IT :lmao2:

Philly STILL hasn't won anything, and now they have to deal with "T.O. Gate - The second coming"

This couldn't have happened to more deserving group of JAGBAGS! :lmao2:

Jagbags has to be the best descriptive word I have ever seen.

He is not even the best wr of the young wr Mclain is better IMO and has a higher selling

The Eagles will let him cry he has no leverage he is not good enough to warrant anything if he never played another snap for the Eagles the offense would still be the same maybe better because they quit trying to make a big play every time

How do you increase sold out???

The Eagles has been winning games for a decade, not exactly begging for fans or wins.

You and I both know that "sold out" is not one definate number. Otherwise, no venue would ever break it's record crowd number after the first sell out. Also, it goes way beyond just sell outs; it goes to merchandise sales, exposure, endorsements, tv exposure, etc. When you have one of the most exciting players in the NFL on your team, you get a lot of press and a lot of attention, which = a lot of money because companines want to be around you and your team.

They won't get rid of him, he's a big play wide receiver and I'm sure the fans love him. I think he sucks and is a dick, but I'm not a Philly fan either...

I've never known the Eagles to bend over backwards to please 1 player under the current regime.

It won't happen.

Jackson can hold out, and I'm not sure the front office would care.

Best outcome for us:

1. Bigtime deal gets worked out and that bony *** of his is broke in two next year going over the middle.

2. He sits out and becomes a major distraction to the franchise.

Worst outcome:

He shuts up and plays out his rookie deal. Makes multiple pro bowl appearances.

I like how 62 catches for 1150 and 9 TDs makes him 'one of the best young wideouts in the league.' This guy is getting so much ridiculous hype. The Eagles FO should show Rosenhaus that metrics breakdown that shows how almost every TD he scored this year was on a blown coverage or when he was covered by a LB, and then tell him to come back next year and see if he can put up some legit numbers.

I hope they also include (if what I think is the case is true) that he piled up a lot of his "explosive" numbers against bottom tier teams.

I think Sydney Rice would argue that both Macklin and the "Explosive" Desean Jackson aren't all that after what Dallas' DBs did to them, and what Rice did to Dallas's DBs.

Jackson is not the most endearing guy out there. And he's not what I'd consider a complete WR. But he is a threat to score at any time and makes big plays. So I gotta give him his due even if he is an Eagle.

The Eagles should have seen this coming, I swear that if I was an owner there is no way in hell I would ever draft somebody represented by Rosenhaus.

Seriously, I would just not draft somebody if Drew was their agent. He is the worst scumbag agent on the plant.
