Eagles are first team since 1987 Patriots with no second-half completions in multiple games

Hurts went 0-7 in the second half of Sunday’s game against the Bills. In Week 4, he was 0-8 in the second half against the Buccaneers.
The Eagles won both games.
We should have went after Vic Fangio when he was available. I would look to acquire Vance Joseph as a possible replacement for Eberwuss.

Vic only wanted to go to Philly. His hometown area. Thats partially why Miami released him out of his contract. Prior to taking that job he was consulting with Philly. And The former def coordinator Gannon *** Philly and told them he was coming back, then took the Arizona coaching job. Which is why Vic went to Miami.

Grand kids have a mighty strong appeal.

Yeah, he was the main guy I wanted.

What's makes it even worse is that Fangio has said he as no desire to be a head coach again so that would have created stability finally if he found success here.

That's what good defenses do, they make the offense look ugly. Not hard to comprehend.
Prescott always carves these dudes up. Are you kidding me? So what is Josh Allen's hang-up? All-world, 13 rushing TD Superman who can vanquish foes with a single leg shake??? Why did it take 55 minutes to put something on the scoreboard? Dallas spotted them 21 points and still prevailed.

QB's don't play well under duress. Sacked 5 times and hit another 6 times.

Funny part is Hurts played worse and still won.

His wife wanted to be near their grand kids. It was either Philly or one in the New York teams. Dallas had no chance of hiring him or any other highly regarded coaching candidate.

It’s called a great defense something we haven’t had since the Aikmans day
Yeah, they have a Super Bowl defense but they lost being the first seed by losing 5 games because they chose to sit on the leads they built up mostly in the first half of games and you can't always turn the offense back on with 5 minutes to go at the end of the game.

Their first time NFL OC still hasn't learned that lesson and it will cost them in the playoffs and prevent them from going to the Super Bowl. You would have thought the owner learned that lesson in 2023 but I guess not. I would have hated to see them with one of the best OCs in the game. That team would have been historic.

They also had Emmitt Smith who could run out the clock.

Second half Eagles offense: 17 total yards. Hurts 0 - 7. THAT is just unforgivable. If Prescott ever puts up something like that the world will end.
Because that's never happened but I can tell you it already is constantly harped on when they don't score in the second half even though they move the ball fine they pass up on easy field goals because a lot of the offenses that we have to trot out in the second half we're trying to keep our defense off the field and they have to change their play calling philosophy it's not like we're not moving the ball or getting into scoring range they're just going forward on 4th down a lot passing up field goals and it's changing the way the flow of the game should be going..

Yes Prescott and our offense have been criticized mightily for not scoring in a couple of the second half of the games not really taken into account all the yards and getting into field goal range you're inside the 20 and still lost outgoing for it on 4th down playing highly aggressive high risk ball because of how bad our defense is that's the difference but yeah Prescott gets criticized when they don't score even when it's not his fault like in the Lions game two interceptions not his fault The fumbles the mistakes the drop passes but it's not like they're not moving the ball though they're completing plenty of passes they're running the ball pretty well in most of these games and most of the times it's the historically bad defense that's creating all these problems....
