PFT: Former Cowboy Ben Fricke dies

Ben Fricke, who played center for the Dallas Cowboys from 1999 to 2001, has died of colon cancer. He was 35.

FOX 26 in Houston confirmed Fricke’s passing with Mark Howard, the football coach at Centennial High School in Frisco, Texas, where Fricke had been working as an assistant coach.

That is about as bad as it gets. young with family. Odds are that he did not bother to get a colonoscopy in time. But at that age unless he had prior problems its not recommended.

I'll turn 35 in December of 2012, that's sad for the Fricke family.

I try to take care of myself by exercising, and eating the proper foods and the food part can be hard at times with my southern upbringing regarding food but I eat that type of food only in moderation though.

Colon cancer is a scary thing for all people and its one of the leading causes of death among men and women regardless of how young or how old.

I can't remember where I saw this but there was a high school football player that died of colon cancer and the team dedicated a game to him.

I don't know if in Ben's or that teenager 's case whether or not if it was hereditary but we know sometimes hereditary traits regarding illnesses can be a ***** my condolensces go out to Ben's family in their time of sorrow.
