Yikes. Florio is the guy who said "in our opinion at PFT we see romo as a backup in the league and not as a legitimate starter for any of the 32 teams"

last year after the denver game. He had a whole little op ed style piece on how bad romo is and how he should be a backup.

The guys personal opinions are moronic and his investigative work "reporting" is usually wrong in some aspect.

So I ask again, why is the nfl affiliated with this guy?

There's no starting QB in the NFL who would want Romo as his backup--simply cause he'd be afraid Romo would beat him out for the starting job.

"Many scouts"? Well, a couple anyway. Really? Well, I think I overheard one say something like that prior to the draft. OK, maybe he wasn't really an NFL scout. Look. The fact is I KNOW that many scouts think that even if they never really said it out loud!

So, you just made it up and attributed it to "many scouts" to give it some sort of validity when in fact it is just your opinion and you know it wouldn't hold water on its own because people know that you're full of crap.

I'd like to know this as well. I'm wondering if he's not related to someone important somewhere, because Peter King has been propping him up for a couple years too, and his (Florio's) reporting has always been 100% pure trash.
