It's been a week, we were supposed to have a decision on the appeal in a week.

From a Dallas news article

Mincey on Greg Hardy

Jeremy Mincey: I love him. I absolutely love The Kraken. There was a day last week; I was a little dehydrated, out of energy and the Kraken just went crazy ... 'Aw, I never get tired.' I fed off his energy and I thought it was great. He's a good guy, man. He's really mild-mannered. He reminds me a lot of myself. He's really level-headed, more level-headed than people could imagine.

I keep hoping his suspension will be of miminal length. He's our best shot to be an impactful passrusher, imho.
Certainly, Lawrence, Gregory and Crawford all bear great opportunity for the same but must prove themselves. With all of them combined, it would appear extremely reasonable that our passrush should be vastly improved. Adding Mincey to that mix only makes it more of same.

I dont think we were supposed to, people nust refered to an example of a previous appeal that took a week.

Hardy has a strong motivation to be a hard worker because he has a $1.3 million workout bonus, which represents about a quarter of the total pay he’s likely to earn from the Cowboys this season. The Cowboys will gladly pay that money because Hardy is one of the best pass rushers in the NFL
This is exactly the kind of talent we needed to add at DE this off season. He is a difference maker and impact player. That workout bonus is chump change compared to what his next contract will look like. I just hope it's the Cowboys that lock him up long term.

The longer its stretched out the more reliant Hardy is on getting an injunction granted. If the injunction being denied would likely push his court date well into the season and increases the likelihood Hardy just accepts a deal which would mean the league wins. They're dragging this out intentionally.
