I gotta give the old man this, he is entertaining. Draft night for the Dallas Cowboys will be must watch television. Cha Ching
.Its doubtful we move up. Bailey wont fall within our range and no one after him is worth moving up for
I actually would like to trade down from both but I doubt we will get trade partners at 12.Its doubtful we move up. Bailey wont fall within our range and no one after him is worth moving up for
Trading down with 20 is possible, but I dont see 12 as likely
Bailey is not the only target they could be looking at. Everyone thought before the combine that Styles was the target at 12. What makes you think he wouldn’t be the target at 6……Its doubtful we move up. Bailey wont fall within our range and no one after him is worth moving up for

20 could be a good spot for us with teams needing a WRI actually would like to trade down from both but I doubt we will get trade partners at 12.
I hope he isn't a target at 6. Trading up for a off ball LB would be beyond foolish. Especially in a deep draftBailey is not the only target they could be looking at. Everyone thought before the combine that Styles was the target at 12. What makes you think he wouldn’t be the target at 6……
Deep draft for a Styles type of player? Reese maybe but Styles is one of a kind. We need a linebacker that can be a star. CP, Schotty, and the Stooges would all love this kid.I hope he isn't a target at 6. Trading up for an off ball LB would be beyond foolish. Especially in a deep draft
I dont think we need a Styles level player. The position value is just to bad form to to move up for a LB. At 12, you betcha. Considering how much we need, Im not willing to move up for anyone not named David Bailey. And there is practically no chance he is in rangeDeep draft for a Styles type of player? I’ll take that friendly bet. I’ll say Dallas moves upIts doubtful we move up. Bailey wont fall within our range and no one after him is worth moving up for

Moving up for styles, downs, Delane, or Bain makes more sense than risking losing all of them at 12 and getting wiped out and having to settle for somebody they don’t rank highly. The problem here is you are comfortable taking McCoy. They aren’t.I dont think we need a Styles level player. The position value is just to bad form to to move up for a LB. At 12, you betcha. We need a middle linebacker in the worst way how would you feel that positionIts doubtful we move up. Bailey wont fall within our range and no one after him is worth moving up for

I am going to go with what I believe Jerry wants. He wants a Parsons replacement in my opinion. Reese and Bailey will probably go in the top 5. Styles has star written all over him. Potentially a Fred Warner on steroids. I can’t see Jerry waiting for his guy to make it to 12. All he has been talking about is fire power. Draft choices mean little to him. I can’t see the Cowboys staying at 12 and picking Mesidor or McCoy.I dont think we need a Styles level player. The position value is just to bad form to to move up for a LB. At 12, you betcha. What does my stance McCoy have to do with this conversationMoving up for styles, downs, Delane, or Bain makes more sense than risking losing all of them at 12 and getting wiped out and having to settle for somebody they don’t rank highly. Id take one at 20We need a middle linebacker in the worst way how would you feel that position
It has a lot to do with it. More than a lot. It’s like the entire conversation. If the team is willing to take McCoy , they can feel comfortable staying at 12 and getting a player they like. If you eliminate McCoy from the conversation, the chances drop significantly. If you eliminate McCoy AND Bain, it’s looking very slim at 12.What does my stance McCoy have to do with this conversation
So let me share your quote and restate my question:It has a lot to do with it. More than a lot. It’s like the entire conversation. You being comfortable taking McCoy makes it easier to be comfortable staying at 12. It’s not that hard to put what I said together and understand. So let me share your quote and restate my question:
"The problem here is you are comfortable taking McCoy"
So.....again......
What does MY stance on McCoy have to do with this conversation?
Me being comfortable with McCoy has nothing to do with not wanting to waste assets moving up for a linebacker. There will be a good player that we need at 12You being comfortable taking McCoy makes it easier to be comfortable staying at 12. It’s not that hard to put what I said together and understand.
