It would seem to me that “little people” is more of a derogatory term but all the same, Jerry really isn’t accountable for much. This one will blow over faster than his secret daughter did.
his secret daughter....wonder what happened to all that??
Jerry said the M word lol, didnt know about the M word myself.

The thing with offending people is the presence of malice, today people assume everyone has malice when they say something. Without malice there is no offense but lest we forget. Was the term insensitive yes, was it meant to be offensive I don't think so. Also older people I give a pass to since their filters are learned from a different time.

Little People of America, the world’s oldest and largest dwarfism support organization and an international, membership-based organization for people with dwarfism and their families, advocates to abolish the use of the word “midget”. The word “midget” was never coined as the official term to identify people with dwarfism, but was created as a label used to refer to people of short stature who were on public display for curiosity and sport. Today, the word “midget” is considered a derogatory slur. The dwarfism community has voiced that they prefer to be referred to as dwarfs, little people, people of short stature or having dwarfism, or simply, and most preferably, by their given name.

When we surveyed our community about the usage and overall impact of the word “midget”, over 90% of our members surveyed stated that the word should never be used in reference to a person with dwarfism. As an advocacy organization, our charge is to take the lead in providing accurate and current information to the public when the “m” word is used erroneously, and often carelessly, as a description of a person with dwarfism. Whether the intention of the user of the word is used to bully and to demean, or just as a synonym for small, our collective experience shows us that language has the power to cause permanent damage to one’s self-esteem and identity.
That is incorrect or intentionally lying. Midget means equally proportioned, Dwarf/dwarfism is when they are not proportional.

My dream is this happens much more frequently in his older years and the family pulls him off the mic finally.

Seeing and hearing him makes me ill to the point where I'm embarrassed to tell strangers I like this team.
Am I nuts for wanting more Jerry, and less Jr?

I think he was referring to the signing of Kavontae Turpin. He's a little returner, 5-9 155 was his college weight. The current coaching staff doesn't like small slot only receivers so I think Jerry was just repeating what they said.

Thanks for clearing that up I was at a loss for why we were worried about this

Always great to see the old man put his foot in his mouth. He lives for this time of the season when he gets to put on his Cowboys cap and shirt and act like a coach. What a turd.

How is this a thing? Midget?

Little person is better?

It was not the N Word and was not said with malice.

Can someone post a list of things that we have to erase from society? There must be others.

Size is a factor at whatever player position. However with so much position versatility this is much ado about nothing.

All the amplified outrage over Jerry's player size description is like a flea with an erection on it's back floating on a river and shouting "Open up the drawbridge!"
