Seriously, why does he have to keep talking? LOL. Just do what you need to do and stop running to the press to explain each blow by blow.

In a short span we've gone from no urgency to now we are conscientiously working to get a deal done. Hahahahaha.
You know the deals will get done. You have to listen to the media circus.

Jerry seems to be stalling the talks with Cee Dee in an attempt to give the impression that he's doing tough negotiating. Of course, it's not working, but Jerry's ego still demands that he makes appearances of being a tough negotiator. It's an exercise that fools nobody -- just posturing.

Not the point.

There was no reason for Jerry to run out and say what he's said. He just makes himself look incompetent every time he does it. No other GM in the football operates this way. They shut up and just do their jobs. Not Jerry.

"Here's the offer you rejected already CeeDee. It's still on the table.. Get back to us when you're ready to sign".

We’ve learned a couple of new words from the Joneses since the end of last season, Conscientiously and Holistic.

This is good news. As long Jerry is busy tripping on acid doing stupid press conferences then he’s not singing a 60mil dak deal

Who cares?

Fans of a team who have had to live through 2+ decades of futility under the stewardship of Jerry. Moments like this crystalize why he just doesn't get it and likely will fail to build a SB winner on his own.
The last 3 have been good and they look like a contender today in 2024. I love it.

I wish Jerry worked “conscientiously” to build a Super Bowl winner.

What I find funny is we spend months arguing about contracts and Jerry and Stephen are probably going to give them everything they want. So predictable.
Which is why we shouldn't spend months arguing about contracts. In the end, it does not matter with this franchise if Lamb is the highest-paid or lowest-paid No. 1 receiver. We can look back over the last 30 years of failure and what the team was paying its QB or top WR is not the problem. We failed to reach an NFC Championship Game when Romo was a lower-paid starting QB and when he was among the highest paid. We failed to reach an NFC Championship Game when Dak was on a fourth-round rookie deal and when he was among the highest paid. The common denominator in our failure is the front office.
