If the owners do what everyone expects them to do and lock the players out next month, there will be no offseason activities until a new Collective Bargaining Agreement is reached. But one player says he’s already preparing to organize his own offseason work.

Bucs quarterback Josh Freeman says he thinks he and his teammates have made great progress, and he’s not going to let a lockout derail that progress. Instead, he expects to organize minicamps himself if NFL teams aren’t having official minicamps.

I think (I have seen reports where romo says he will have minicamps too) that romo said he will arrange mini camp with the players too for the cowboys. I just found this interesting, so thought I would share it, the players have to be focused, possibly on their own, if there is a strike

Am I missing something here?

im trying to show, that your leader like tampa bays QB is planning on having mini camp with the players and they stay in shape and tuned up

that the cowboys have to do the same thing, if they want to win this year, if there is a strike

In other words, if there is a strike, the players cant work out at valleyranch, etc

in minicamp and OTAs it will be upon the players to do that on their own

I bet Spencer wouldn't do anything like this on his own.

Lazy bum.

Freeman impresses me more and more every year. Impressive physical skills, great attitude, hard worker...

If he ever reaches full potential, he will be a force at QB in this league. He seems like a really good kid...

Man, a lock outs gunna suck. I hope they come to some agreement. Not sure I will sit through this lock out unaffected. I am so tired of rich people crying about money.

Like someone I wont name once said "How much is enough?"

Ditto.

Have Ryan drop off his plans on a park bench; one of the guys just happens to sit down and pick them up and walk away. A little gathering somewhere else and guys work on them. Romo invites all the recievers and TEs and backs to stay for a week; they can work on things. A big envelope with no return address is found on his front doorstep that just happens to have Red Balls plans. Expand Free Reign to all the linemen offense and defense and have get togethers that just happen to have blocking sleds in the back yard. The guys like to put on pads now and then before they play.

THERE are ways.

I watched him up at K State for 4 years and none of his success has surprised me in the least. If he is physically able he should last a very long time in the NFL.

when its someone close to you or yourself making the money we'll find out.

Romo is doing the same thing. I imagine all of the teams are going to do the same thing.

Romo already said he was going to that that a month ago...
