PFT: LBer Murray sees Eberflus' defense as a "great fit" for him

Like I said, I’ve been a fan of Murray since his days at OU.

He’s at his best when he’s tasked with following a limited number of keys and being allowed to make a read and go.

The problem with that is this is a new era of presnap motion and misdirection which is anathema to his playing style.
Barry Switzer fan, huh?

Yup, I caught that too .......CCboi's latent tendencies are coming out and like you said, " not that there's anything wrong with that"

The CZ is an accepting site that welcomes all types of flamboyant lifestyles
Mighty broad minded in your brag, huh? Now explain the Bull in the China Closet Drill!

Broad minded in my acceptance of all of God's creatures......Bull, China Closet and Drill are four words I dont use in the same sentence.

But as I've said, Different Strokes......

Keep in mind, Kendrick had over 125 tackles last season. Since you are not bringing him back, someone has to cover his tackles. As mentioned above, Murray's 95 tackles last season are actually decent numbers.
Yeah, and I think that shows that players can have that many tackles and have some gaps in their games. There were times that Kendricks was a non-factor because he simply does not move as well as he did when he had fresh legs. Other times, his understanding of how to play helped him get to the right spot at the right time.

I have little doubt that Murray will make a lot of tackles, but 95 in a season is just 5 1/2 per game. There's a whole lot more offensive plays than that where he could be out of position or slow to the ball.
