The lawyers for the NFL and NFLPA* won’t sit face-to-face for a few more days, but the mediation process has indeed started again on Tuesday.

NFL Network’s Albert Breer is in Minnesota, where Chief Magistrate Arthur
Boylan met with counsel for the Brady (current players) and Eller (former players) cases on Tuesday in an effort to get up to speed on the issues in the mediation.

Sorry, but don't expect much with forced mediation of NFL/Players. Like a set-up date for people with no interest in each other.

We hope Judge Boylan will have NFL/Players respect process and gag order. Mediator Cohen was treated like substitute teacher after while.

One month into lockout, a reset on our offseason of discontent, with new mediation on deck: http://******/foUuFA

NFLPA does want Salary Cap in the next CBA, need a spending floor (minimum) to avoid underspending, as many teams did in 2010.

Ok ... Kessler, Berens, Quinn just left. In total, the Brady class spent 5 hours with Boylan. They come back on Thursday,

... All three declined comment on their way out. Similar to first few days at FMCS.

On the Brady class counsel ... Meant to say 4 hours (damn time change) ... Eller class counsel followed 15 minutes later.

Participants in court-ordered mediation still aren’t known

On Tuesday, Magistrate Judge Arthur Boylan is getting up to speed as to the players’ side of the ongoing labor dispute, in preparation for mediation. On Wednesday, he’ll meet with the owners’ side. On Thursday, everyone will convene for the commencement of mandatory mediation.

The order from Judge Susan Nelson setting mediation, a copy of which we have obtained, requires the lawyers and “a party representative having full authority” to attend.

"a party representative having full authority"...is there such a person on either side.

It will be a vote of a majority of the players and 24 (?) of the owners, and the players and owners may/could change with each new issue.
