You’ve likely heard a time or two about the “Brady Six.” They are the quarterbacks drafted before Tom Brady in 2000. Three years later, Tony Romo went undrafted, after not a half-dozen but a baker’s dozen quarterbacks. With Romo now stepping away (but not officially “retiring”), it makes sense to look at who the 13…http://youwillnotrackme2.net/b.gif?host=profootballtalk.nbcsports.com&blog=&post=2450584&subd=nbcprofootballtalk&ref=&feed=1

Seems like this primarily shows why Lacewell needed to go.

Palmer was pretty good guys. He got injured and was really never the same after that. didn't help that he went to the Bengals either but I think Romo had a better career. JMO.

Regardless.. Romo is just better than him and it's not even close.

They may have had similar post season production but i'm not putting our lack of post season success completely on Romo.

Yeah, I don't agree with this. Don't get me wrong, I love Tony as a person and a player but if Palmer comes to Dallas instead of Cincy, I think he has a much better career. Reverse that and send Tony to Cincy and he is probably a lot like Dalton IMO. Palmer had exceptional skills coming out. He was as close to Troy as I've seen, from a talent standpoint. Tony had a better career, IMO, but he also had a much better situation, then did Palmer IMO. Tony has played on teams with some bad Defenses IMO, but he's also played on some teams with pretty decent skill players as well. I think it's much closer then you might think.

He may have had a better career but Palmer is a statue QB and just simply can't do what Romo can do.

You give Palmer an awful play caller like Garrett, no defense, and inconsistent Olines then I think he would be just about what he has been at his 3 other stops.

I think if you're going to have a chance at all to succeed as a QB in our scheme you have to be mobile.

Stating facts is now trolling? He said Romo had more success, which is 100% false.

Might help you to look up the definition of the word fact. You claiming Palmer has had a career better than Romo is as subjective as it gets

Championship games:

Romo-0
Palmer-1
lets just say tony and palmer are about equal.
they were both pretty good, and neither one had success in post season.
They were the best 2 in that class.
Palmer got paid better though being drafted high, and poor romo, he got peanuts early on.

I have to say that Romo was more colorful and entertaining to watch play, that spin move on pass rushers, and some other
crazy extended plays.
I remember one game, where the ball was snapped over his head, way over, and tony had to run back like 20 yards to get the ball,
then scrambled around avoiding tacklers, got a pass off, and I think it went for a 1st down.
The buffalo game with 5 int's and he still won the game !
Denver Dallas shootout, in 13?

The fact cbs wanted him so bad says a lot, about how he is viewed, even though he had no success in post season.
He is well known around the country and maybe world.
