Has there ever been a highest defensive player in the NFL that never won dpoy? Dallas strikes again
12-14 sacks, no playoff success with sacks!Who cares. Pay him. Don’t pay him. Trade him. Don’t trade him. The outcome will be the say.
Clearly they've set a precedent this year that that's not a barrier.Don’t pay him. His career is all down hill.
If he would run this new scheme as designed he’d get his opportunity. But instead he plays on the edge and when you have an offense that doesn’t score an efficient 30-35 points you can’t rush the passer for most of the game anymore. He shouldn't play until he realizes that every play isn't a pass play to just run up the field and go for the QB!
Not only this but he's rushing against players weighting 50-60lbs more.......it's bound to take its toll, especially at the end of games. If he would run this new scheme as designed he’d get his opportunity. But instead he plays on the edge and when you have an offense that doesn’t score an efficient 30-35 points you can’t rush the passer for most of the game anymore.
If he’d play as a linebacker he run sideline to sideline with Overshown and stop the run and then he gets his opportunity on 3rd downs to rush. This new scheme is sound and would be perfect for him but alas the DC is adapting his scheme to what his star player likes which is stupid in my opinion.
He’s become one dimensional. If you watched him this year his effort sucked. I think the guy has peaked.12-14 sacks, no playoff success with sacks!
