Hm....I was waiting for Florio to explain how all three new contracts could fit into the salary cap. I guess there wasn't enough room left in the final cut of his article.

I also don't see the merits of pioneering 2nd contracts halfway through their rookie contracts. The "next-guy-up's" agent may assume it's a trend.

He shouldn't play until he realizes that every play isn't a pass play to just run up the field and go for the QB!

Isn't he already making a big salary as a 4th yr guy ? Obviously he's on his rookie contract but he's making decent pay, right ? I mean, he's not at league minimum.

If he would run this new scheme as designed he’d get his opportunity. But instead he plays on the edge and when you have an offense that doesn’t score an efficient 30-35 points you can’t rush the passer for most of the game anymore.

If he’d play as a linebacker he run sideline to sideline with Overshown and stop the run and then he gets his opportunity on 3rd downs to rush. This new scheme is sound and would be perfect for him but alas the DC is adapting his scheme to what his star player likes which is stupid in my opinion.

Not only this but he's rushing against players weighting 50-60lbs more.......it's bound to take its toll, especially at the end of games.

I think Parsons has peaked. I don't see him getting any better, particularly playing DE. That said he does have trade value at the moment. But we aren't a smart organization so I doubt we will try to cash in and get some draft picks. What going to happen is almost too predictable. Parsons is going to hold out next TC and let Jerry come to him........ as Jerry always does with his favorites.
