There will be no uncertainty or drawn-out negotiations: Michael Vick is signing on the dotted line to be the Eagles’ quarterback in 2011.

Jeff McLane of the Philadelphia Inquirer reports that Vick will sign his franchise tender today, guaranteeing him a salary of more than $16 million next season.

I really don't think he's going to be very good at all this season. His luck started to run out at the end of last season when he learned he couldn't just sling the ball in the general direction of a double covered receiver forever. :laugh2:

At what point does he actually start earning his own money....I mean after he's done paying back what he owes? Does he get to keep some of this contract?

He's probably gonna need it since I think he's still got a lot of back stuff to pay for with all the trouble he got himself in.
