Mike McCarthy didn't need to see much of Dak Prescott to know he was the quarterback for his offense in Dallas. Prescott is scheduled to become a free agent next month. The Cowboys aren't expected to get serious with Prescott's agent until the Collective Bargaining Agreement situation is settled, whenever that is. They plan to [more]

I don't think McCarthy has a lot of options here considering who our backup QB is.

It is not the same as picking the prettiest girl of the last 2 ugliest girls at the prom to dance. :muttley:

Of he says he is sold on Dak, I believe him, it’s not like he has to say it, because he will be stuck with him.
I am sure this came up the interview.

“I’m not really into hypotheticals,” McCarthy said. “Really, it’s not really anything I spend much time thinking about. We’ll just take it one day at a time, and it’s a business matter. Obviously, all the things that are involved with that, those are really for Jerry [Jones] and Stephen [Jones] and Dak’s representatives.”

Gotcha Mike. You could have had Baker Mayfield, not so easy to work with, or Daniel Jones, a blank page. Yeah.........in that case Dak makes sense.

:laugh:Well said.

I get what you are saying but seeing as to how he's the new guy in the equation, I think part of this is PR and making sure not to be the new guy who rocks the boat. A lot of this might be Mike McCarthy playing politics.

Is it his offense? Is is Moore's offense? Is it some hybrid of garret and moore?

Anyone know what the heck is going on? I thought we were moving on from a year that saw the offense fold against every good team. But, now everyone needs to come back including the play caller. Baffling

“I think what he’s done up to this point speaks to itself“

Not according to the talking heads, er many CZ haters. They say they know better. :lmao:

Hmnmmm ....anyone never tried this? (LOL) I could probably do it but wouldn't be easy LOL
I did it when I was younger, but I cheated a little by slightly click opening the beers before attempting this. One has to be pretty strong in their arms and hands to pull it off.

Haha. That first line made me think of this...
