APUniversity of Connecticut football coach Paul Pasqualoni, who served as defensive line coach and interim defensive coordinator for the Dallas Cowboys in 2010, used his former employer’s handling of success in 2009 as an example of what he doesn’t plan to do in his first year with the Huskies, who made it to their first-ever BCS bowl last season.

“It’s not something I ever believed automatically carries over,” Pasqualoni said in a Q&A session with students, per Gerry Fraley of the Dallas Morning News. “Last year as we started the season with the Cowboys, they had won their first playoff game in quite a while, get into the season, we weren’t winning very many games because I think the decision was made, ‘Well we’ve come this far, we got this much done, maybe we can kind of pick up where we left off.’

Translation: Complacent= not showing up the first 8 games.

Well I think that stems from the who hum "I hope i haven't lost the players" coach

But besides that the only reason we lost games after Mr. Cupcake left, was because you figured that not rushing the passer and playing prevent was the best way to win. Enjoy your failings at Uconn though.

Wade Phillips takes complacency with him wherever he goes. Expect the same from Houston this year.

This comes under the same category that night is dark and water is wet.

I find it funny that he says the team felt like they could pick up where they left off. That's exactly what they did really. Favre to Rice

I always cringe when we are labeled a SB contender. We play better as an underdog.

We will shock people this year like the Beagles did to us in the pickle juice game.

It will be nice to have the shoe on the right foot, where it belongs.

Did he give an explanation why he was playing prevent defense against the Saints and the Cardinals and why they were able to come back on us?

Won't happen under the Garrett era.

I think we all hope so. This is one of my main problems, we need a coach that will 'stay on' these guys because it just seems like they just want to do enough to get the critics off their back and then it's back to business as usual.

Training camp made him do it.

Or because he's a prevent-playing bum and Yakuza Rich had his number. I don't know how great I feel about Rob Ryan, but I'm definitely glad we don't have Paul Pasqualoni. #Winning

No, what he is talking about is not Wade.he is talking about Jerry not going out getting any help on the O-Line or at FS. and locking up some of his own players with big money contracts, when they are not worth it. he is saying the Cowboys stood still, and were fat and happy coming back with the same roster. AND IT BACKFIRED!
