I thought I heard him say that before in a game. Was just thinking I was hearing things. Lol

On the radio, they were saying that "Elway" was for "L" and meant the running play was going left and "Romo" was for "R" and the running play was going right.

Yes, I thought so too. I replayed that part and it sure sounded like "Romo".

It's most likely some tactic that we stole from those teams and they stole from us so they just shout Seattle or Romo.

Are we sure it was Manning that said that? It didn't sound like him but if it wasn't, I don't know why someone else would yell "Romo".

As Denver tried to run out the clock in the final three minutes of Thursday night’s game vs. San Diego, Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning barked signals near the line of scrimmage.

Then, he shouted a word — a surname, it sure seemed — that caught the attention.

“Romo!” Manning barked, as this NFL.com clip confirms.

Think about it! As a defense, what is the last thing you would expect when a QB yells out "Romo" for an audible?

Just saying...
