Report: Ezekiel Elliott’s hearing expected to be held Tuesday

Ezekiel Elliott‘s attorneys are doing everything they can to give the star running back a chance to play this week.

The hearing on the NFLPA’s emergency temporary restraining order motion is expected to be held Tuesday, according to Josina Anderson of ESPN.

The NFLPA filed with the Southern District Court of New York seeking to put Elliott’s suspension on hold. The motion requests a ruling by 4 p.m. ET Tuesday.

So what happens if he does not get to play this week, but they give the TRO for next week. Then eventually the entire suspension is thrown out. What will be the fall out from that?
If it is upheld, then he only has 5 games to go. Like he misses this week, then plays for 3 weeks, then has to miss 5 more games. Or it goes to the 1st 5 in 2018?

I know it said by 5 today, but what if it is not decided by then?

I believe that's the premise of the emergency hearing the NFLPA filed for so the Cowboys and Zeke know where they stand THIS week. There's an unwritten rule that by EOD Tuesdays that rosters need to be finalized but the NFL already stated previously that's not the case.
