Report: Teams have contacted undrafted players

APWith the lockout returning on Friday, April 29 following a brief, court-ordered hiatus, teams were not permitted to sign after the draft ended any of the players who weren’t picked. In theory, teams also aren’t permitted to contact those players or their agents.

But contact the players and/or agents some teams are.

Coming this week i could see the headlines now , "Cowboys and others violate rules contact free agents".

I guess no one will click the link if it says bengas or bills but throw us under the bus and you got readers man! :D

The dumbest part of this whole thing is these teams are scrambling to get an upper hand and all they really need to do is end the lockout and reinstate the last CBA pending litigation and we can get on with business as usual. Let them fight in the courts forever. I don't care. I just want football and that includes UDFA signings.

:starspin yep agree buddy, i cant post my stuff i find on undrafted players we sign, because of the lockout

When I posted articles on the players we drafted, most zoners liked the articles I found on the players in draft section. But big dog and some others liked the other stuff I post on undrafted players, thats hard to find, unless you already have most of it in a database.

I already have a zoner, that is going to help me save 2012 draft stuff into excel or word access, so will be available next year, more quickly.

Agree 100%.

If the owners win the injunction appeal, the fans lose and we could see a real threat to losing football in 2011.

For penance, say two Hail Marys and forgive a kicker for the error of his ways.

Patience. Let them get in a round of golf and relax so they can decide.
