He has 3 and a half days for treatment and rest. If he doesn't play, I think the Rams destroy us.
We need Lee to stop the run game, and we need Lee to stop the swing passes to Gurley. Our only option would be to play the whole game in Nickel with a safety on Gurley who is Goff's go-to guy under pressure.

lol. Yup, Rams 57 - Boys 3 (because of no Lee).

I'd rather sit him this week than have him play and possibly make it worse. Hammy's are tricky - let it heal.

Lee's a straight up guy. He wouldn't fake it. Anyone should know that.

I'd be disappointed if he didn't fake it where it could give us an advantage by slowing down a hurry up offense. It's good to be a straight up guy on the field, I suppose. But it's better to do whatever it takes to give your team the best possible shot at winning.

Hmm did he injure in in the last few minutes where the offense could have been kneeling instead ?

Yep that was the point of my post earlier in the week. Why put the defense through the physical stress when we could have knelt for the win. But thats another thread and I wont revive or bump it.

That is the trouble so often in the NFL; situations like this you unless its a playoff type game sit the guy and let him FULLY heal; he is TOO important overall to take any real chances on THIS early in the season. Especially with hammy's.

It's good to see that Hitchens is practicing. It will be a big lift for the defense to get him back.
