PFT:Stalemate arises over rookie wage scale

]I have seen nothing saying what the wage scale will be.[/B] You don't know what it is so you can't say that it makes sense or not. Regardless, a QB, no matter how much you pay him, takes time to develop and if you are in the 4th year when he starts to play, then you have a problem. You have to invest lots of money hoping that you can outbid other teams to keep your QB. It's a big risk if he doesn't continue to progress. I think you need 5 years with QBs.

Well you are speculating and I am speculating. My Speculation is based on all the reports that they will be a scale and which will significantly put a dent of how rookies are payed, if not none of this makes any sense. If they is no rookie wage scale that is significantly lesser than what is currently prevalent, then its moot point for owners to argue about year limit and same for players.

I guess you had to retort about me saying your argument is not making sense in this context. So be it. I don't want to argue for the sake of argument or winning an argument.
