That's what I'm saying. The league doesn't know who's going to sign him so it makes sense for Tank to only be eligible during week 10. Since at that point, everyone in the league has only played 8 games.

But there are 4 teams who have played 9 games after Week 9. (4 teams have byes in week 10). So if one of those teams were to sign him before Week 9, he would be eligible to play in Week 9, since they had already played 8 games.

I don't know if this makes sense. Let me know if I need to clear it up.

My bad. I thought all teams have had their bye week 9 or before. I didn't realize teams still have byes during week 10.
