PFT: Todd McShay backlash builds

Wish he was still around. Really thought he did a good job.

Joel was the very best... but the truth is, he was a semi-hermitic geek, the quintessential 97 pound weakling, and almost never left his apartment... how he got to be the draft guru/genius he was, I have no idea...

Heres where ESPN sucks. Clearly the people have spoken, yet they wont do a thing about it. Theyre going to keep trying to push their next star even though hes nearly unanimously disliked.

Completely arrogant

FWIW heard an interview with Jay Glazer on the Tony Bruno show. Said he respects Florio. Glazer outspoken and pull no punches type.

my only response to that is, what are you doing listening to tony bruno.

There has to something better than that on where you live.

Find a station with the constant sound of nails scratching on a chalkboard it will be a big improvement.

Tony Bruno is bad, but have you ever listened to the Petros and Money show?

I guess they're out of LA, but for some reason our local Fox Sports Affiliate has picked them up. Petros has the most annoying radio voice I've ever heard. It is bad.

ESPN is arrogant, but I don't think the general masses have really spoken out on McShay. I think the casual fan really doesn't have much of a problem with him because he does present himself well. Sure, he may be giving out terrible opinions, but who really tracks this stuff for accuracy? Surely not the casual fan. Hell, you could put football highlights up and have McShay singing over the rainbow, and the casual fan would feel like he got his football fix.

The Wizard of Oz version or Israel Kamakawiwo'ole? He might gain better ratings if he went with the ukulele.

Damn, you even spelled his name correctly... I'm impressed...

Now, can you say it three times, real fast?? I'm pretty sure that by the time I got to the third attempt, it'd come out Isreal KarmaChameleon...

Hell, can you say it ONE time, real slow?? :D

McShay is the ghay. Reminds me of the guy in the frat that wins the season in fantasy football.

No, he is more like the guy in the frat who talks a lot, says he is going to win the fantasy football season and falls flat on his face and does not talk about it after he does.

:laugh2: I just usually call him "Iz" because I can't even go once and pronouce it right. I have his GH album and he was actually a pretty talented guy.
