It looks like San Fran's win helped us out a little. With just two 4 and 12 teams we will rotate draft position with the Chargers only in each round rather than having a round robin with the Chargers ans the Niners. It will make a two spot difference in some rounds because of it.

We'll have the 34th pick in the draft, since NE forfeits its first-rounder. So yeah, really close to a second first-rounder.

It helps more than just that. Theres now a larger gap between SF and SD. It makes the trade much more expensive for SF which could deter them. It also puts SD behind some teams who could use an OT which they could really use.

The best outcome yesterday (besides us losing), was the 49ers winning...........really helped us out.

Exactly..........if San Fran wants Goff, they know they have to go up to atleast pick 3........the odds of Goff getting past both Cleveland and us is remote. So to go from pick 7 to pick 3 is going to be pricey, probably would have to gut most of their draft this year to do it or start throwing in picks from next year.

Yup. Thats another big factor. Kaepernick is perfect for the kind of offense he wants to run. I think theres a large chance a QB is there at 4 now. Whether we take them or should take them is another story.
