The surgery requires a longer recovery time.
The Cowboys already anticipated Diggs would miss the start of the 2025 season. The rehab now will be even longer.
“I hope it’s definitely sooner,” coach Mike McCarthy said Friday. “But this is a big recovery for Trevon. It’s way too early for me to speculate on that.”

IDK......injuries are part of the game but he has not played well. In fact, I would be inclined to resign Lewis to let Diggs walk after next season. Strongly consider CB with top 3 picks

Why do I get the feeling he’ll never be the same? (As he was pre injury 1)

Maybe part of it is we need to come face to face with the fact DQs pressure oriented defense is a big reason our dbs shinned. The run defense though...

Doesn’t matter. They’ve already essentially admitted that next year is another throw away season.

It’s called outsmarting the rest of the league.

If Josh Butler didn't get hurt, maybe he could have been a viable answer. I wish Diggs a speedy recovery.

Hopefully the surgery makes him a better tackler (move to safety??) lol
They're working on his knee, not his brain.

You have to have the desire to be good at something, like tackling, and his brain tells him "hell to the no, I'm not doing that". I'm sure his reasoning is trying to avoid injury, but that didn't quite work out the way he wanted. Unless he just decided to quit like a few others.

Why play cornerback then? You can't always jump every pass, and avoid injury, you have to make tackles, not run by the side of a blocker and have him push you around lol

yeah we're a superbowl caliber team, doesn't the owner of this team drool about this every off season/season
Unfortunately for Jerry, you don't get automatically put into the playoffs on name alone like they do in college. In the NFL you have to earn it, and Jerry fails to understand that part.
