PFT: Vikings in 'hot pursuit' of Haynesworth

What does that mean for the Willamseses's?

Dang that would be one scary DL... It already is but adding Haynesworth would be a serious youth injection.

The "Roy can't be traded or cut because he makes too much money" crowd will have some explaining to do if this goes down.

Roy can't be traded because no team is stupid enough to give us any picks for the guy.

That DLine would be dumb silly. I don't know how else to explain how sick that D could be. Talk about sleepless nights for offensive coordinators...

Really? Not even a seventh? If Roy is "unmovable," then that should go double for Haynesworth, whose contract is much more pernicious/outrageous.

Damn! That d-line would be serious.

If they can motivate him to play.

If they can than we better get our Oline straight because they would kill us with the way we are constructed as of today.

Yeah, but at least Haynesworth offers production. Roy Williams offers drops, headaches, wrong routes. But hey, he blocks good for the first three seconds on sweeps.

I thought Haynesworth was paid a good deal already (due to contract structure) that would make it easier for the skins to trade him if they wanted.

This. And I think the Commanders even get money back according to Haynesworth's new contract.

He was, the Commanders made it pretty easy to trade his contract now.

So why is Washington hot to move him? If a player "produces," a team will put up with practically anything short of murder.
