.

There is absolutely something behind it and that is Champ loved the ladies in DC, especially this WaPo photographer.

From about 2001-2003 you'd see Champ, Smoot, Lavar, Rod and Ify on the prowl 5 nights a week. Maybe thats why they sucked :)

Is his obligation as a journalist to the Commanders organization? Or to his newspaper and profession to seek and report the facts?

The only way calling for his firing could ever be sensible is if he somehow was trying to cause tampering, which would obviously require some elaborate setup that the team exec would have to be stupid enough to fall for. Nothing close to that happened here.

Maybe Danny Boy should piece together some relics from the old Pravda and add that to his media empire.

Uh, no. Again he wasn't "fact finding" because the rules are clear in black and white

He called up the NFL office with the hypothetical "if some GM had his own radio show and happened to mention Kiffin on Friday, can't he get in trouble"

There's a reason I put that blowhard on ignore. I suggest you try it.

Here's my take on it:

Coles -- Whined in NY, came here. Whined here. Traded back the the Jets. Started whining. The common denominator? Coles and Whining.

Bailey -- Admittedly tired of dealing with Spurrier (who wasn't?) Gibbs gets hired. Rejects deal. Traded to DEN. Interesting. Yeah there is probably nothing behind that.

Arrington -- yeah he hates the Skins -- wait a sec, isn't he currently covering the Skins for Comcast? I could have sworn I saw him praising the Skins...interesting

Pierce and Clark -- were mistakes. Pierce blew up -- and wanted more then Marcus Washington -- in retrospect he was worth it. But after 1 year? The staff wanted to see him do it again. I never heard Clark say a bad thing about the Skins mgmt.

Yeah the Skins have made mistakes. Big ones. However no organization is exempt. I mean it's not like the Cowboys ever make colossal blunders...Stephen Jackson...Mike Vanderjagt...Joey Galloway...JJ's pitchers-turned-QBs...Ryan Leaf...

Oh yeah so ALL THOSE PLAYERS WERE WRONG, WOW I GUESS THE OLD THEORY WERE THERE IS SMOKE THERE IS FIRE IS OUT THE WINDOW. Its kind of like people saying racism does not exist.

Also the Galloway Trade was messed up I give u that.
Jackson now one knows what he would have done in Dallas, what i know now is he is a whinner and fumbles......
The rest of them were Jerry taking a chance.
Oh ok and the Pitchers turning them into QB, we still spent less in money and draft picks then you guys did with SHULER, RAMSEY,BRUNELL AND CAMPBELL....

Now lets look at some present GEMS
ROMO UNDRAFTED
RATLIFF 7TH ROUND
CRAYTON 7TH ROUND
AUSTIN UNDRAFTED

now lets look at some pricey and risky free agents
Tank
TO
Adam

Told you Sonny U dont want it with me.

I wouldn't have a problem with him if he actually stuck to that. Unfortunately, he inserts a lot of his opinion and speculation.

And, this is the kicker, why would his editor need to come to his defense with a lame spin -- that is significantly different from what the NFL said -- if it wasn't a big deal, or if JLC was just doing his job?

Coles- a complete ****** with the largest chip on his shoulder

Arrington- I am curious where he plays there days
Bailey(didnt bad mouth in public, but was very unhappy)-worst kept secret in DC, banging a Washington Post photographer, wifey finds out, suddenly he rejects a 55 million dollar deal

ArchDelux-sucks now

B Lloyd (now blowing up in Chicago)-only a Cowboy fan would call 1 100 yard game "blowing up"

Pierce- offered him the same as the Giants, just wasn't going to pay him more then Marcus washington

Ryan Clark-mistake mistake.

But hey, Snyder could have traded 2 first roudners for Galloway, right?

Lloyd did well in San Fran his first stop and now his 3rd stop.......HUMMM MAYBE THAT SECOND STOP RUINED HIS PROGRESSION. He has done more in 3 games with Chicago then all his time with the Skins

Pierce was offered alittle less by the skins........So who would u take now Pierce or Washington

HOW MANY DRAFT PICS DID U GUYS GIVE UP FOR BRUNELL, RAMSEY, SHULER, CAMPBELL AND TJ DUCKETT

Such a wonderful little feature. I don't have to sift through pages of non-sense from people who I couldn't possibly care less what they have to say...

So funny how Sonny did not answer my rebuttal in this thread

http://cowboyszone.com/forums/showthread.php?t=128636&page=2

Now he has me on ignore. So funny on hogsnet and extremeskins I have been banned for posting and digging up truth telling articles and facts on the skins. I guess it hurts some Skins fans that a Cowboy die hard has such an inside track on their team.

Let me ask you this -- had JLC been working for the DMN -- and he pulled this stunt on Jerry Jones -- what would your reaction be?

My reaction would be, "Well, at least I don't have Snyder and Vinny running my team". But, that's just me. ;)
