As an owner, Jerry Jones’ overriding No. 1 concern is the success of the Cowboys, and he’s far too savvy a football man to place school allegiance over his NFL club.

Wow, Jerry has come a long way.

I think many think Jerry's got tunnel-vision. That since he's so focused on McFadden that when the time comes to pass on a trade for him, that all he'll beable to see at that point is Felix Jones. Whatever.

I'll rate this draft side-by-side with the Bobby Carpenter draft of a couple years ago if this actually goes down and we select him with any one of our 2 first round picks. No problem with us taking him in the 2nd, but IMHHO, he is just barely worth that even.

This fascination with all things Arkansas just because the first Razorback Jerry has ever taken real interest in is on the board this year, is just preposterous.

If it goes down, we just give him #21, call him Julius Jones, and we won't know the difference. Makes no sense to draft an on-par back with Julius after we just got rid of him and he was the one that knew the offense. Can we say, backstep.

Are you saying Felix runs like a robot and it a pile magnet? :laugh2:

The Razorback I'd put money on being here is FB Peyton Hillis.

Agreed. And it will be a wonderful moment. I have a feeling he's going to have a nice little career in the league.

To me, it's not the fascination with all things Arkansas. It's the fact that Felix Jones is a very good back and we need one ... doesn't matter where he's from.

Any comparisons to Julius Jones should stop. Felix Jones isn't considered a first-round prospect because Jerry Jones might take him. He's considered a first-round prospect because of his ability. Julius was a second-round prospect because of his.

Well said. He's my top 3rd rd pick. He's extremely versatile. He can block, run, and he catches like a WR. He'd be unstoppable matched up on a LB when he's running pass patterns.
