Pharrell's hat

I didn't watch the Grammys but this topic has been all over the workplace this morning. For those who are not familiar with Pharrell he is an over rated hip hop artist (had to thrown in, don't think he is very good but has been popular for a long time) who wore a smokie the bear-esque hat to the Grammys. The hat blew up with memes and trolling and has been the talk of the Grammys. It left me speechless because of how stupid he is and how he looks. Thoughts fellow czers?

Don't care for the dog and pony show for artists{that's a stretch}to give themselves a pat on the back. The grammys used to be about the music and artists that actually had musical talent.....these days not so much.

Pharrell isn't so much an artist as he is a producer. He's responsible for alot of crossover hits over the years.

He dipped his toe into performance, but his best work is music production.

Never heard of him. But his hat was good enough to get him media attention, and even went so far as to get him attention on a Dallas Cowboys forum. So bravo for him. People do that stuff for attention, and it works every time.

Can't say it's the most appealing look around, but I guess it did work with the attention thaing.

Pharrell has his hands in many songs. He produces and is very talented and creative. Anyone think "Blurred Lines" with Robin Thicke would have had that success w/o Pharrell? I don't..............

With that said, Pharrell isn't my cup of tea either but I can't say he is over-rated. I don't know which I disliked more, that hat or the two robots.
