But the thing he doesn't mention is Anthony Henry being out. Tank Johnson coming to the Boys. Terry Glenn being out. Newman just getting over an injury. I am proud of this team. We will be much better once we get these guys. Even if Glenn doesn't come back.

This team will be completely different after the Bye. The slow starts will come to an end and we will begin to dominate. We just need to have patience with this team. It's young and maturing. We have a long season yet ahead of us and plenty of time to bounce back. The Minnesota game will go a long way in determining what kind of character we have and the ability to bounce back.

Maybe we'll get to meet them again in Arizona. I'd like that.

Penalties killed us. The game was closer than the score.

it was closer for about 50 minutes. the penalty negating barbers 1st down run (on 4th) was the killer, along with wade/jason's stupid fade on 3rd/goal then the FG.

embarrasing play

The Cowboys have the 3rd youngest team in the NFL. Part of the problem is we've only got 4 offensive players (Adams/TO/Glenn/Johnson) who are 30 or older; on defense we've only got 3 players 30 or over (Ferguson/Ellis/Henry). Our teams captain are Witten (25), Romo (27), K.Davis (27), and Bradie James (27). Don't remember if TNewman is a captain or not but he's 29. Point is that most captains on other teams are players with lot of experience in their 30s. We lack that kind of veteran experience but as our young players gain that experience we will only improve so long as Jerry improves the talent level at some vital positions.

I'm not too upset. Not happy to lose, but the boys showed some fire out there. I think this game is a fair indication of where we are at. We're still the best in the NFC. Hopefully they will learn from this game.

Only thing that really upset me was kicking that FG late. If Wade's going to play that cautiously, it's going to bite us later.

Was the camera man/woman in love with Stanback? We would be much better just suiting him for games and seeing if he helps or not.

I'd really like to see how well be can play with T Glenn on offense and with a healthy secondary.

Hopefully we'll be good to go after the bye week.

It's not his job to make excuses for us. It doesn't matter who's out. If you don't want to play, don't show up. Call early and tell them you can't play cause you've got guys out, so you want to forfeit.

The Boys aren't making excuses, don't embarrass them by making excuses for them.

I love Wade's laid back approach, but the penalties have got to stop. So many stupid mistakes due to lack of concentration. There were some calls that we got screwed on, but the majority of them were stupick mental mistakes that shouldn't happen. Take Eldorado Owens' false start. How does a WR get a false start when all they do is look at the ball to see when it's snapped. His wasn't the only one.

Today, I think we were given a measuring stick. As indicated by the score, we're only a little more than halfway to where we need to be.

I have to agree with you. The Cowboys now know how good they have to be to be champions. I think they'll learn from this game. I certainly can't fault any player for tonight's game. Sure there were some mistakes, and frankly, NE played almost a perfect game. If Dallas can turn this into a learning experience, then they'll progress very nicely.
