He played well.

You don't remember Rush against Philly a few years ago? He was a turnover machine and was garbage. He had some good games against junk opponents. He isn't a good QB at all. Even the most spare QBs can have a string of good games as a backup. And once the tape piles up on you, defensive coaches can shut you down in a hurry. And you better be able to adjust.
