Game Day Philadelphia Eagles at Dallas Cowboys Postgame Thread

Aside from allowing a fumble recovery TD this was a complete game! Also Cederius needs to come in clutch and catch some of those passes when the offense is trying to put teams away......but all in all good dominant game!......oh and Gilly showed up big!!!!!

It was a mostly great game overall. But at one point I was a bit aggravated. We went from putting the game away with that deep ball to Lamb, to a scoop and score the other way. I still thought we'd win, I was just a little annoyed.

My gawd some of the comments in the 4th quarter in the 2nd half thread. We were playing winning football, chewing up clock, playing smart, dominating the T.O.P., up by 3 scores in the 4th quarter and some people were still complaining!

Few quick thoughts:

• We would be in big trouble if we hadn't signed Gilmore.
• Hankins is a big loss if out long. No more excuses for Mazi. Welcome to the party.
• Let the Fergy-Mania continue. Get that dude's jersey ready at DC.COM. Wasn't there just 2 weeks ago. Collinsworth already dubbed him the next Witten.
• Offense came out cold in second half.
• Steele still worries me. A lot.
• Rico is fragile. Like kid, but goes down too much.
• That game would have been a landslide if Philly hadn't made that Fake Punt early in the game. Only thing that saved them from turning into Carolina, Washington, and everyone else we just stomped.
• Don't eat the cheese. Continue to stay focused. Hope everyone stays healthy. And win it out, and take the confidence and momentum beating these good teams into the Playoffs. Time to see if we can win against good opponents on the road.

We don't need no stinkin' appendix. The defense only gave up 6 points. I'll take that every time. The offense was good, but they can be better so that's encouraging. We took it to them from start to finish. Is anything better than whooping that clown Siriani (sp.)? That sign that lady held up at the end was one for the ages. Cry Eagles Cry. Die Eagles Die. Bye Eagles Bye. Now it's one game at a time. Win each of them and hope for a Philly loss. Last time they fumbled 3 times and we didn't get any of them. This time they fumbled 3 times and we got all of them. How sweet it is! This game played out exactly the way I wanted. Jump on them early and don't let up. They did it. My only regret is we didn't get a 40 Burger, but I'm greedy and hate the Eagles. 33 - 13 Cowboys. The defense held them to 2 field goals. Let's keep it going. Prayers up for Big Hank, Jayron and Cooks who was limping a little bit. The Cowboys won a big game against a good team, didn't they? Was this a big game? Is Philly a good team? What a win. The Cowboys didn’t play great and still beat the Eagles by 17. The defense held the Eagles to zero touchdowns. Well the Cowboys were supposed to lose two in a row and now we are in first place. Enjoy!!!! Welcome back Gallup!!!!
