The Cowboys have to be careful not to get too up for this game, because a win could cause the team to take a breath and relax. We can’t afford a single letdown after this game. We have to keep rolling.

Normally, I would say this is a fan issue. But the team has proven to us over the years that this does happen to them.

It happened to San Francisco after they beat us. They went from looking unbeatable to losing three straight. You have to be careful not to get too juiced up for one game because there’s still a lot of season left to be played.

I don’t think it’s going to happen to them again because they’re usually really good in December and January. Once they get rolling this time of year they’re hard to stop. They recognize this is when you have to start playing your best football. You can’t afford to go into a funk in December.

Yeah, he was injury prone in Carolina, which I believe is the reason they traded him. He was missing a lot of games and was making a lot of money.

I'm right there with you, you may not recall the thread i started after we won on Thanksgiving where I got blown up for saying something to that effect.
