3:43 pm LB Akeem Jordan on Dallas' Marion Barber and Felix Jones: "Barber's a power back and Felix is a speed runner and we have to adjust to their different styles. You've just got to know your personnel."


3:30 pm WR DeSean Jackson on Dallas' pass coverage: "They have a good defense and they do a good job, but we had a couple of opportunities we didn't take advantage of."

3:30 pm DeSean Jackson has been named NFC special teams player for December, the second time he was player of the month (September). He was also a player of the week three times, twice for special teams and once for offense.

3:25 pm Offensive coordinator Marty Mornhinweg said today that the Eagles can't get discouraged if they fall behind early to Dallas again: "We've got to go through some of the swings that happen virtually every game," he said.

3:23 pm If Quintin Demps (ankle) can't return kickoffs vs. Dallas, either Jeremy Maclin or Macho Harris will replace him.


3:21 pm Special teams coach Ted Daisher on kick returner Quintin Demps (ankle): "He's getting better. We don't know if he's going to play this week, but we are evaluating him daily."

3:19 pm Special teams coach Ted Daisher said today that WR DeSean Jackson should be able to return punts vs. Dallas despite a groin strain.

Not too concerned with whoever they have watching the kickoffs sail out of the back of the endzone.

I do wonder if Jackson is a bit more gimpier than what is being talked about. He vanished after he was tackled on the punt return.

One way to make the return game moot is by putting the kick off deep in the endzone and for the punts to be hung up high so the coverage unit can get down field.
