Respectfully disagree......pretty hard to recover from a loss like that. There are so many areas to address, it's hard to fix all in one week. The only thing that concerns me is the short week+travel for us.

That is a 2 way street 9ers could very well come out shell shocked from this past game aginst Philly, all of a sudden players relize how far away the really are. If Dallas jumps on the 9ers quick they could fold very easily. But that is next week tonights game is all that matters right now.

the Niners just arnt any good...they got a fluke win on opening day and they should probably be happy abut it because they might not win another one

As professionals, you come out to play your game, whether it is David or Goliath. Happy bees or angry bees, every game should be a fight for your life, figuratively.

The coahces can provide the direction and the tools, but as players, if you can't come out just as mad/pumped as the other team...ESPECIALLY the niners....then get off the field.

I don't really see that on this team...but we'll see tonight. Let's see how they are prepared for a team they think they should beat.

No game should be taken lightly. Anyone can jump up and bite anyone else. The Whiners played lights out at home against the Rams, then looked like a college team in Filthy. Unfortunately, we get them at their house.

These next three games, including tonight, will be a good barometer of things to come. Will we beat the teams we should beat, and steal a couple of other games? Or will we let those games slip away?

At any rate, you are right that they will be psyched up to play hard. I remember that Filthy stomped the Whiners in the second or third game of one of the early 90's seasons when the Whiners were still a good team. The Whiners used that embarrassment to psych themselves up the rest of the season.

The 49ers don't have wide receivers. It has an okay running game, and their corners aren't that good so they can be exposed. Petersen is about the best person on their defense, and he may have to worry about Witten all day.
