Philly - 23 vs Giants - 11 Game Thread

Or should I say root against NY....because none of us could ever really root for Philly.....But it really has nothing to do with Philly. Nothing to do with McChoke or Dawkins or Westbrook or the unassuming Andy Reed. It has everything to do with what a bunch of annoying ARSES that the Gspots are. Coughlin, whiney Jacobs, golly gee Eli (whoops I almost threw another critical pick that was dropped) and their whole band of trash talking defense. Yeah, they're good: as evidenced by the fact they've done this without two of their best players in Osi and Plax, but they get under my skin as much as the 90's Cowboys did to every other team and their fans back in the day. So I'll hate them again today and hope their arrogance and clownish behavior catches up with them. But I won't count on it, because they know how to win the really big games and to this point........Philly doesn't.

As I stated before the Playoffs started, I wouldn't mind seeing the Eagles win the Super Bowl because I like seeing veterans like Brian Dawkins, Brian Westbrook and even Donovan McNabb get a Championship.

It has nothing to do with the Cowboys or Giants.

At the end of the day, the best "team" is going to win it and if people didn't want this team or that team to win the Super Bowl, then the Dallas Cowboys should have done something about it.

true enough maikeru. I'm just trying to have some fun on a pretty depressing day. We beat both these teams this season; but as we all talk about around here: the playoffs are a different season and this team doesn't have the coaching, maturity or mental fortitude to succeed in the playoffs. The truth of the matter is: I hope they go 12 OT's and the winner is so exhausted that they get throttled against the Cards. (that's assuming McDope knows about the OT rule by now!)
