I sure would like for Atlanta to do us a favor this Sunday, but I just can't see it with Chris Redman at QB. Just our luck that Atlanta would be without Ryan and possibly Turner.

I couldn't see Jamarcus Russell beating the Eagles either but he did. This is an important home game for Atlanta and they have weapons. The eagles will be without Jackson. I think Atlanta has a great chance.

Westbrook may not play against Atlanta, but D-Jack is a possibility.

Not to mention Atlanta's secondary isn't exactly dominating. They are going to get eaten alive unless they stress stopping the deep ball.

The Commanders almost won in Philly. Atl is better than the Commanders. Atl is playing at home. Atl is in a must win situation.

I could see Atl winning. Not saying they will but it will would be nice.:)

This could be a big week for Dallas playoff hopes.

If we win we will be in a position to simply split the sd-no game.

Atlanta could beat philly and put a huge gap in the division race for us.

Baltimore could beat green bay helping us out if it came to a tie breaker at the end for a spot...that would be a two game cushion.

and finally minnesota could beat arizona, with a win by Dallas it could give us a great shot at the 3 seed. Or minny loses and that gives us a shot at the 2 seed.

we have to win though for any of this to be relevant.

ESPN was reporting that DeSean said he was unlikely to play Sunday. Anything is possible, but I think the chances are slim. He is better off sitting out a game and coming back more healed the next week.

I'd have a very hard time picking against Philly this week at Atlanta....but the dirty birds occassionally light it up at home.

As for Philly losing at Oakland, well, they are tough at home...ask Cincy. Also, some of us should look up the huge difference in winning percentages of teams traveling from one coast to the other. It is huge. For example, the Chargers really sturggle at NY and Philly, but the opposite is also true.

Sounds crazy, but I actually think Washington will make a slight game of it with the Saints this week.

I agree on both counts. ATL could very well win at home, though it would help if they had Turner. (He's still out, isn't he?)

And I could see the Skins defense doing some good, too. Especially at home in colder weather with the Saints coming off a hugely emotional win on a short week.
