RUSHING OFFENSE: Another game of catch-up translated into very few rushing attempts. The Eagles ran the ball just 7 times in the first half for 25 yards. Brian Westbrook was the odd man out. Didn’t have a single rushing attempt.
Grade: D
PASSING OFFENSE: Donovan McNabb was under pressure much of the game, but even when he had time, he was ineffective. He completed just 4 of 10 passes for 39 yards in the first half. DeSean Jackson was muzzled again by the Cowboys defense, catching just 3 passes for 14 yards. Grade: F
RUN DEFEENSE: After giving up 179 rushing yards to the Cowboys last week, the Eagles were gashed for 198 last night, including a 73-yard touchdown run by Felix Jones. Jones finished with 148 yards on 16 carries. Grade: F
PASS DEFENSE: The Eagles, who gave up 27 touchdown passes in the regular-season, gave up 2 more in the first half last night as Tony Romo and his receivers pretty much did whatever they wanted to against the Eagles’ back 7. In 3 games v. Eagles, he completed 66.0 percent of his passes and averaged 8.37 yards per attempt. Grade: F
SPECIAL TEAMS: The Eagles’ punt coverage unit, solid all season, didn’t have a good night defending return man Patrick Crayton. Crayton had 3 double-digit punt returns in the first half, including a 31-yarder. DeSean Jackson averaged just 4.5 yards on 2 punt returns. Grade: C
OVERALL: What can you say about a defense that gave up 900 yards and 58 points to the Cowboys the last 2 weeks? What can you say about an offense that converted just 5 of 23 third-down opportunities? No much. Grade: F
I am so loving the drubbing of our most hated rival now! The monkey just jumped on their backs. It's gonna be a loooong off-season in Filthydelphia. Let the knee jerking commence. :laugh1: :starspin
